I continue to be concerned that the military responses to terrorism are more likely to create terrorism than surpress it.
We're seeing how the Israeli bombing has been a boost to the stature of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The US involvement in Iraq has created terrorism in Iraq that we never dreamed of.
The military card may not come completely off the table, but we may need to examine more closely the implications of our military actions.
Perhaps instead of more "war on terrorism" we need more "peace on terrorism."
