Iraq #1 Issue

Iraq is the number one issue on the minds of voters as we enter the mid-term election season.

This is the result of a Gallup poll, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The largest percentage of surveyed voters--35 percent--said the most important issue to them would be where candidates stand on how the U.S. should proceed in Iraq.

Sounds like clear information for the candidates going into the election, right? I doubt it. As I shared earlier, the War in Iraq has split this nation in two. My guess is that the 35% who feel the Iraq War is the #1 issue are probably split pretty much down the middle. I doubt we'll come out of this election with a mandate on which direction to head in Iraq.
