Non-Violence in History

A couple of books that I can reccommend that show how non-violent methods have been applied across history.
  1. A Force More Powerful: A Century of Nonviolent Conflict, by Peter Ackerman and Jack Duvall.
  2. The Unconqureable World: Power, Nonviolence, and the Will of the People, by Jonathan Schell.

Each of these books describes places and times when non-violent methods of change have been used effectively.
